Can you imagine the version of You who is on the other side of your current weight?! What have you gone through? What do you know now that you were totally blind to before? You probably can't even answer those questions, but I know you feel the excitement in finding out!
First things first: Take a deep breath.
Yes, the extra fat is frustrating. The ice cream and the frappuccino's won't stop singing their siren-esque song to you. I totally get why your first impulse thought is that you're not strong. But you are! And it is going to be okay. If you want to be successful, then you must trust that.
Let me share a tip with you - during my own times of difficulty I like to focus on this single thought that increases my excitement, hope, and faith:
As difficult as this is, there is absolutely something valuable to learn here, that when I do learn it, I will discover a new, stronger version of myself.
Wherever you are at this moment, trust that by keeping your eyes and ears open, you will continue moving toward that stronger version of yourself. And yes, you are strong *right now*. But you will gain more and more strength as you move along.
Never stop embracing what has worked, what hasn't worked, and what might work. Making an effort to make health part of your life isn't stupid; it's what strong and fascinating people do.
